About Lynn

Lynn Webster has more than 30 years’ experience in the industry, beginning while she was still at school when she took her first cleaning job to earn pocket money. Post-college Lynn’s career encompasses senior and national roles in healthcare, retailing and service industries.

2004 saw the launch of Lynn Webster Consultants Ltd. The growth and expansion of the business is easy to see with a portfolio of clients that includes: Sainsbury’s, Interserve FM, The Trafford Centre, the University of York, York NHS Foundation Trust, the University of Hull, Metro Clean Doncaster MBC, Interserve Education, Hull City Council, Minster and Leeds Metropolitan University.

Lynn held the post of Chairman of BICSc, the British Institute of Cleaning Science, from 2009 to 2011. BICSc 50th anniversary awards ceremony in September 2011 provided a landmark conclusion to Lynn’s role as Chairman when she received the Sholom Gordon Award, the Institute’s premier award. The award recognises an individual who has demonstrated outstanding service to the Institute and the cleaning industry as a whole. Lynn is an active member of a number of industry-related and business associations and networks.

In April 2011 Lynn was listed as one of the Top 100 most influential women in the hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism industry by People 1st.
